Les formes négative et interrogative
Rien de bien compliqué ici, on va passer is et are à la forme négative et interrogative, comme nous savons déjà le faire. Cela donne isn’t et aren’t pour la forme négative, et is there et are there, à la forme interrogative.
There isn’t a book on the table.
Is there a book on the table ?
There aren’t 2 books on the table.
Are there 2 books on the table?
Aux formes négative et interrogative, les structures sont donc les suivantes :
There isn't + COD singulier
There aren't + COD pluriel
Is there + COD singulier ?
Are there + COD pluriel ?
